Peru - Day 5

TRAVEL

Day 5 was the first day we had some relief. We worked double shifts Sunday through Wednesday with no real time to sit and process. On Thursday we actually had a relaxing afternoon. :)

Earlier in the day we visited the neighborhood near the main church to pray with people and invite them to attend the evening service. This was another great time of going door to door to meet with people.

For the afternoon we drove about 90 minutes up into the mountains. I slept for some of this so I have no clue what direction we headed. Anyway, the place where we went to was a property the church used for retreats and family crisis/emotional healing conferences. The whole time we were in Peru the temperature was in the 60s. Up in this mountain area in the afternoon the sun was beaming and it felt like the high 70s/low 80s which was a nice change.

You will see more landscape photos which were taken by Ezzy and myself. After lunch, we went to a river where four people from the team were baptized.

In the evening we went back to the main church for our last service. Personally this was off the hook because I had the privilege of preaching. God's presence truly showed up and there was beautiful ministering to those who needed emotional healing.
