The Beautiful People @ Adina & Trevor's Wedding

WEDDING

When Adina told me she needed a photographer for her destination wedding right outside of Tampa, Florida, I was very happy. Adina and I attended the same primary school so we go way back.

The guest list was about seventy-five people who gathered at the lovely Safety Harbor Resort and Spa. And we truly danced like nobody's business that afternoon/evening.

Check out this video to enjoy the beautiful people who were there.

Destination

PHOTOGRAPHY

So I'm in Tampa right now. I flew out here to photograph my first destination wedding. I decided to arrive early so I can rest in the warm weather today as the wedding is tomorrow.

I really need it as last night I was photographing a social event/film screening at the Hispanic Federation in New York City. As a freelance photographer, the photo assignment was nice and low key. The film "Entre Nos" was good. And I even bumped in to some friends, one which happened to be the co-director of the film.

Interestingly enough this time last year professional photography was not even a thought in my mind. In Jan '09 I was designing a leadership curriculum to teach young adults (City of Truth) and an acting curriculum to teach an introductory acting course to adults and teens.

It's now Jan '10 and I have been shooting photography professionally for 10 months...lol. God is amazing on how He leads us down paths we never anticipated and in ways that only He can establish.

In these past ten months I photographed three weddings. I had to turn down four other weddings because my schedule was full on those days. I photographed two sweet sixteens and one birthday party. I photographed two Family Reunions, two Family Portraits and two different musical artists portraits. I photographed seven model portraits, one actor headshot, and one Alter-Ego photo shoot. And I'm just getting started. :0)

Stay with me for the ride in 2010.
