EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY
This past Sunday New York City celebrated the 2010 National Puerto Rican Day Parade. This annual celebration is the biggest parade in New York City. I had the great privilege to photograph it as a member of the Press.
When I was in my late teens, I remember participating in the parade dancing mambo up and down Fifth Avenue. So it was a joy to be participating this time loaded with two cameras and capturing all the festivities.
The King of the Parade this year was the amazing singer Marc Anthony. He was accompanied by his wife Jennifer Lopez.

Why I Photograph
I just love to make beautiful pictures of people.
I truly enjoy portraits whether they be at a wedding, sweet 16 or a personal project.
Even with my iPhone I use filter apps to make the image look beautiful.
What I have come to realize is that in every area of my life I try to enhance that which is in front of me.
This is me.

Here is the third inspired urban fine art portrait from the Engagement photo session with Eurice and John down in lower Manhattan.
The minute I saw the mural in the background I knew I wanted to use it to take a comic book style shot. Eurice and John were down for it so we had a playful time at this locale.

Urban Fine Art Fave - "Miss Flora"
PHOTOGRAPHY
After numerous rain delays, I had the pleasure of photographing Flora in midtown Manhattan. She is very funny, very spunky, and very beautiful. I watched as she thoroughly enjoyed working for the camera.
