Urban Fine Art Fave - "Phil Bonano: Urban Visionary"

Phil Bonano is the senior pastor of New Season Christian Center. At New Season, the focus is on connecting: 1)With God through Bible Study and Worship, 2)With members of the church family through Fellowship and Functions, and 3)With members of the community through Outreach and Events.

The day before this photo shoot Pastor Phil mentioned doing a crazy thing like taking photos on the roof. Once I heard that I knew we were going to have a really great time. I love taking photos with urban landscapes and a rooftop in the Hunts Point area provided a lovely and unique perspective.

The portrait below was taken in the Bronx this past weekend where the temperature was about 34 degrees Fahrenheit (not including the wind chill factor). So Pastor Phil and I really wanted to be on the roof to get this portrait.
