Headshot: Ezzy Castellon

In January 2010 I took Ezzy's first headshot.  Around September 2012 as we began preparing for our Florida "Once Upon A Caterpillar" tour I mentioned she needed new headshots.  As her director I thought it would be great to have the updated photo ready as especially as we would be visiting new cities.

After some time Ezzy agreed and we began working on photo concepts.  As I have mentioned it before I am a very collaborative artist.  Ezzy and I had a couple of pre-production meetings and were able to work out three really cool concepts.

My favorite concept is represented here in this image shot at JDP Studios.  This is the new headshot for the writer/director/actress/producer Miss Ezzy Castellon.

Portraiture: Alexis (Fashionista)

PORTRAITURE

From the beginning of our collaboration I definitely wanted to highlight Alexis' long legs. I think they look great and the white backdrop and low angle really accentuate them. There were loads of photos from this set but this is one of my favorites. :)

Portrait: Alexis Diaz

PORTRAITURE

Alexis and I worked in community theater going way back when we were kids.  So it was great as adults to work on this fashion photo shoot together.

While shopping for outfits for the shoot, we saw this bodysuit that definitely contoured Alexis' physique.  At the studio the hat was added, and then it was a wrap.

Peep it!

Dancer/Actress - Amy Lee

PORTRAITURE

I was delighted when Amy Lee asked me to photograph her new headshots. We went over in detail the kind of photographs she was looking for and how best to achieve that look with the kinds of clothes as well as the colors.

The portrait below was the last location of the shoot. Although it was 30 plus degrees outside Amy remained cool and collective, at least until I stopped photographing. Then she through her scarf over herself.

This is one of the six headshots she selected.
