Peru - Day 3

TRAVEL

This morning we visited a secondary school in Carabayllo which had a massive courtyard. After singing a few songs, we performed a dramatic skit called "Un Corazon Vacio (An Empty Heart)". Then a few people from our group shared their testimonies. It was beautiful to see how these young people were touched by the words which were shared. The time of prayer was wonderful to experience.

After lunch Team Awesome went to Antioch while we (Team Harvest) went back to Santo Domingo. We had another great afternoon of Vacation Bible School (VBS) with the children. This time we did VBS in a different park in Santo Domingo. Oh how I love coloring and playing games with the kids. Seeing their eyes light up and the smiles on their faces are wonderful gifts to experience.

After our little puppet show, Kayla shared a short preaching with the children. Again it is quite beautiful to see children make a decision for Jesus.

During the evening all of us went to Antioch to partake in the service in the drizzling rain. As always there was joyous dancing up front during the singing/worship time. I even got a little jump up of my own...lol.
